Aragen offers small to medium scale production of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies. Proteins can be expressed transiently using various host cells (i.e. BHK, HEK-293, CHO, etc.) or via the culturing of a stable cell line. Our culture platforms are compatible with either suspension or adherent cell growth. Depending on the needs of the client and the scale required, the cultures vessels can range from small shake flasks or T-flasks to WAVE bags or CellStacks.

The protein expressed is often purified by Aragen scientists.  We have significant experience not only with antibody and tagged molecules but also with many other proteins.  Aragen can either use a process that has been previously developed or develop a novel purification scheme that meets the specifications of the client.

As a result, these services often result in the shipment of cell pellets, conditioned medium, or purified protein. In any case, our technical staff works directly with the client to understand their needs and to ensure that the appropriate approach is taken to successfully attain them.
